Daedra Player Characters?

From what we know about Skyrim, playing as a Daedra makes no sense.

Why did 43 people vote "no" on the first question, and only 30 actually said they did in the second question?

lol wut? The daedra ARE all bad all dremora (The only species capable of intelligence) serve mehrunes dagon they all see humans as prey and they all would kill every human they saw if it wasnt to their advantage not to,and dont use "the one in paradise didnt" as an excuse he let you live because you were of use to you if you hadnt been you would have been dead.

It is true that not all Daedra are evil, and Dremora are certainly not the only intelligent lesser Daedra. The Dremora did not always serve Dagon, and unlike him, they have, in spite of their cruel ferocity, a very keen sense of loyalty to their kyn, and also of honor, even to worthy enemies and worthy mortal foes.

Dremora, as stated, are definitely not the only intelligent of the Daedric races. I daresay the Mazkan (Dark Seducers) would be deeply offended to hear anyone suggest this. The Aureal (Golden Saints) haughty creatures that they are, and the Xivalai, would probably become lethally violent with a person who suggested such a thing in their presence.

It is actually of note that of the known Daedera of man/mer or better intelligence, Aureal and Mazkan, both male and female, could probably pass most easily among mortals, because, at a glance, until one got close enough to really appreciate just how golden or lustrously dark their skin is, and their unusual eyes, they could otherwise pretty effectively pass for some exotic strain of Altmer Elf or Dunmer, respectively.

Aureal and Mazkan are actually much more refined in their ways than the Dremora. Xivalai are just as intelligent, but more powerful. A powerful healer who aided Dyvath Fyr in treating Corpus victims, noted the various Daedra whom he had there, bound to Nirn and working in his service. She noted that the most prevalent were Golden Saints, Dremora, Ogrim and Xivalai. She commented on the peculiar sense of honor which Dremora possessed, but that when Dyvath wanted a Daedra to use in an "administrative" position, he choose Xivalai, because while they shared many features with Dremora, they were more independant and had a greater inclination to inventively take initiative. Xivalai, however, are also more likely to defy orders than Dremora, and are prone to betray those who employ their aid if they feel they have not been treated with proper respect.

Concerning the more intellectual Daedra, they are known to sometimes change allegiances among the Princes for various reasons. This has especially been shown to be so of Xivalia and Seducers.

It was a Xivalai who betrays Dagon in one of the early games of the Elder Scrolls series. There is also a lore book in which a Daedra Seducer habitually challanges, mocks and instigates trouble for a Dremora with whom she has a rivalry.

Keep in mind also there are many types of Daedra whom we have simply not encountered.
