Daedrats confirmed...

I know that some people don't like to discuss The Elder Scrolls Online lore here but I thought it was rather funny that now Daedrats have been introduced to the IP. Those are deadric rats that people will meet in the Imperial City at the time of Molag Bal's invasion.

According to ESO Lead Loremaster Lawrence Schick: Phrastus of Elinhir says, "Daedrats are vermin from Oblivion that sometimes sneak into Nirn through Oblivion Gates or portals. Dremora think they're kind of cute, so if they catch them they kill them swiftly instead of torturing them, like they do with loose banekin."

We meet new deadra all the time e.g. with Shivering Isles and new lore e.g. with the Dragon Cult with Skyrim so new lore gets added all the time.

What is your opinion on the Daedrats?? (I feel they could have chosen a better name tbh)

Have you got a link for LS/Phrastus of Elinhir's text on Daedrats?

My opinion? That they won't have enough XP to be grind-able.

Other then that.... WOOOO MORE DAEDRA. Can't wait to summon daedric rats in RP. (If anything this makes me think that creating variations of daedric creatures isn't breaking lore in the slightest)

I would be mad about the name, but then I remember that TES already has a species of Daedroth named Daedroth. I suspect Molag Bal just isn't very creative :P
