Daedric boots invisible in inventory after atronach forge cr

Post » Fri May 18, 2012 6:17 am

So when I summon Daedric boots at the Atronach forge they appear and I pick them up but they are nowhere to be found in my inventory. This is glitch has been tested many times and it is happening to a lot of people. Please fix this so I can have a full set of Daedric without wasting four perks. I miss my full set armor bonus.

I have just stumbled uppon this bug and have been fiddling around with the console to see whats wrong. Somehow there are two IDs for Deadric Boots and ofc the wrong one is spawned at the Forge. Also beware the "invisible" boots do add weight so keeping on spawning them and picking them up will crowd your inventory.

I hope they resolve this soon. It really is ruining my experience with the game.

Just checking in, is this something someone somewhere is working on in the next patch?

I hate to break it to ya but I'd say it's highly unlikely. That probably won't be fixed until they start working on quest bug fixes.

...
Won't investing like 3 perks in smithing make your Orcish armor better than the Daedric and ebony when applying store-bought philter of blacksmithing and enchanted blacksmithing gear?

Well It's not so much the armor rating I'm looking for since I have a maxed heavy armor tree. It's just the fact that I want to have a full set of Daedric since it's one of the coolest looking armor sets. I hear you can only negate 80% of physical damage which requires an armor rating of like 600 or something, easy to do with the heavy armor perks.
