Daedric Bow

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 8:10 pm

Is Daedric bow considered a heavy armor? Or are weapons not considered armors? I'm wondering because if Daedric bows arent considered heavy armor then I might as well level up my light armor perks to gain to bonuses for having complete light armor head - body - hands - feet. At the moment, I can't see any indication of any weapon being considered heavy, only shields do.

...it's a weapon. It's not classed as armor.

So my Light armor perks should work as long as everything other than my Daedric bow is light armor? :D

If your talking about smithing, all weapons correspond to the armor type; IE Ebony smithing = crafting and upgrading ebony armor and weapons.

You don't need armor perks at all when you are an archer. You will sneak-kill most of enemies, and those you can't one-shot you will be staggering/paralyzing when running around them trying to hide. So get perks for bow, sneak, illusion instead. Poisons are priceless as well, I especially love the mana poison, which can svck all the spells out of mage.
