A guild of daedra scholars. Each time you complete a deadra shine quest you go to the guild and tell them what happened, and they will offer some insight or interpretation. There may also be a few quests that are uniqe to the guild.

Probably not going to happen...but sounds fun. I've always loved the Daedra and the Mythic Dawn.

Daedric believers generally stick to a Daedra that represents their personality well, and those who would be studying it out of pure curiosity would most likely not end up living too long. And if I understand Nocturnal right she'd scowl at the idea of such a sniveling guild and her followers could prove quite troublesome to such scholars.

But then again that may just be fun, defending them from the assaults of Nocturnal followers, but then would the scholars learn enough about Nocturnal ? The only way this would work was if you did the Nocturnal shrine first of all, or didn′t contact them until you had already done all the shrines.

There should be necromancy guilds too:D

I would LOVE such a guild. And as to the above, I think the life expectancy of the followers would be dependant upon who and what types they were. The odds are that at least some of them would be powerful mages, in the tradition of Divyath Fyr and Morian Zenes, in which case, hostile cultists probably wouldn't worry them much. And only some of the Daedric cults are malevolent anyway. Azura's, Sanguines, Meridia's, and even Hermaeus Mora's and Sheogorath's seem to generally have a live and let live attitude. Unless you are a zombie. Meridia hates those.

You are correct though that most Daedric Princes wouldn′t let the affairs of mortals bother them too much, but there are some like Nocturnal who would be anything but happy to have you "studying" them.

I would love to serve my Lord Molag Bal, the King of [censored]... Not so much the other Daedra.
