Daedric Titans and Dragons

Post » Thu Apr 24, 2014 1:03 am

It's hard to miss the similarities between these two species of lesser deities.

I created this thread to let people discuss their opinions on these creatures.

I, personally, think Daedric Titans are some kind of Dragons who were corrupted by Molag Bal.

Also, Titans are very strong. Which do you think is stronger; a Titan or a Dovah?

Unless Daedric Titans can thu'um, I'd say a Dovah would win in a fight against one. With that said, the idea that Bal corrupted some Dovah is an interesting one.

Wouldn't that fit better in the lore forum?

Anyway I don't think there is any connection ( that said I don't play ESO, so who knows?). ZOS needed an elite daedric minion of molag bal so they came up with daedric titan, that's all there is to it.

Dragons are aspects of Akatosh - so they 're basically personality fragments of his. Hence, they can be anywhere on the good vs evil scale - there's no room for "corruption" (most are pretty corrupt, anyway, there's no "turning then evil " like in Lotr ).

As the above says, there's likely no explanation other than ZOS needed a boss. Since I've been disgusted by their interpretation of lore and tamriellic culture - here's hoping we can leave it at that .
