Daggerdale

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 1:39 pm

I tried going to the official Daggerdale forums, but the vast majority of posts seem to be about how people got "Screwed" out of $15, the game is bad, no one should buy it until the bugs are fixed, it's unacceptable for Bedlam to release the product this buggy/Atari is at fault for pushing Bedlam to release it, etc.

Does anyone here have a detailed review, that doesn't consist of multiple paragraphs of people bashing Atari/Bedlam, and how the game is "Far too short/svcks/nothing like BG/etc"?

EDIT: I was trying to find if there was another post about Daggerdale, but the search pulled up nothing.

Daggerdale was okay, but Icewind Fall was better.

Perfect timing OP it just so happens I went to my ex's house yesterday (just cuz we're exes doesnt mean we cant be friends) and she is a huge D&D fan and I watched her play it for all of five minutes before her older brother demanded the xbox for his daily fix of CoD. But, from what I can tell the customization was good, it is dungeons and dragons after all, and the graphics were decent for an arcade game. This little "review" probably wasnt much help at all :P and I honestly know nothing about D&D I just thought I'd respond because of the fact that I just saw the game yesterday, although, not much you can tell about a game in 5 minutes.

I think I'll just go ahead and grab it. If it DOES end up being bad, it's only $15 dollars, which is no different than spending at least that much to go see a bad movie.

I've heard the game is pretty bad, and doesn't have any D&D qualities at all. It has also gotten some pretty bad reviews, which I typically don't go by, but when they are all bad that says something.

Daggerdale and Icewind Fall = Daggerfall and Icewind Dale. But of course, you all were smart enough to figure that out yourselves.
