Hah, the Banker'sBet was actually one of the first books of Daggerfall I read. It was hilarious, yes, but I'd heard the joke before. Unfortunately, this made me think that the books were just modified jokes, so I wrote them off as not all that interesting to explore. It was quite a few years into the game that I finally sat down and decided to read some; then I realized that they were more worthwhile.

Wabbajack is still my favorite.

They sure have some good ones. I usually hit up the Mages Guild library for my reading.

Feel free to mention other titles you enjoyed. I loved the King Edward series, and was sad it never made it into any of the other games. It's been a while since I read it, though. I wonder if I ever finished it? I'll have to collect it to find out. (Note: Yes, I am aware I could just go to UESP... but that's just not as fun.)
