Is there a way (perhaps a user modification) that makes daggerfall a little easier to control? I think its an absurd idea to have to use the keyboard to look around. If not I gues I'll have to learn to deal with it.

Go into options and change to mouse view controls.

Click OPTIONS, then CONTROLS, then MOUSE, then VIEW.

COOL thanks! My screen was previously glitched down there- kind of mishmash of bright colors- now I can see it.
