Maybe the problem is moreso your Swimming skill's limitations rather than any keyboard layout problems. Open your character sheet and have a look at your Swimming skill - if it's fairly low, you may want to invest in a Water Walking spell (Buoyancy is great for a character who is not particularly adept in magic), which, despite the misleading name, will let you move through water much faster.

I have serious issues with Arena and Daggerfall controls. Whatever I do I can't attack. I've read the wiki about Arena controls, but I still cannot attack anything. I've configured Daggerfall's controls but I still can't attack. I'm using DOSBOX .70 because http://dosbox.com said it was the most combatable with Arena and Daggerfall. Can someone help me, I'm on Vista 64 bit.

I would recommend using 0.72, considering that I've used it on plenty different computers without problems. Anyways, attacking should just be holding the right mouse button and wave your mouse around. It's not configurable in either of the games, so that should be it. You might also want to post your Dosbox.conf file, using the codebox tag, so that I or someone else can check it out for potential problems.
