I've installed daggerfall, and been playing it for quite a while, but one thing that has irked me is there's no background music. I'm guessing this has something to do with me playing the game in DOSBox, but I'm not sure what settings I'd need to change to get the music to play.

I figure if it's happened to me, it's probably happened to other people, so is there a quick solution?

Run dagger/setup.exe through DOSbox and select SoundBlaster 16 for midi and digital sound, default ports all around.

I did that on installation.

Make sure the sound setup for Dagger matches the settings in Dosbox - mine are set at

Address - 220
IRQ - 7
DMA - 1
HDMA - 5

The sound and music in Dagger is actually very good and should be enjoyed!
