Cool, if this means potentially more support for DF I'm well up for it. Still couldn't get it running all that well even in the newest DosBox last time I tried, but I shall persevere. I'm not even bitter about the obscene amount of money I payed for my copy, 'cause the box and manual are nice

One question - is this identical to the CD release, or are there some things missing like in the Arena download?

DOSBox 0.73 is the most recent, and from what I've been told, the only one that runs a stable Daggerfall.

Definitely use the newest version -- that's what we had guys (myself included) check it out on.

Oh well; this is still amazing news! Now no one who plays ES games will have an excuse for not playing Daggerfall!

Very cool! I was (sadly) never able to make it out of the first dungeon in Arena, so hopefully I'll have some better luck here

I could run Daggerfall decently on 0.72 as well, but 0.73 is definitely better.

I assume this will take care of the fact that no installer was downloaded with the Daggerfall file?

EDIT: Ok, this isn't working. When I try to extract the file, it says "no files to extract". I try clicking on it, it says "invalid or corrupt file". Should I try downloading again?

Very awesome. I try my best to get mad at Bethesda over certain things, but every time I do they do something like this and restore my faith. It's been a pattern ever since the first Daggerfall patch came out.

I also need some help

every time i click on the link to download daggerfall i only get lead to another link which is the privacy poilicy, and i can't get any further than that i've read through it and nothing seems to be working

can anyone help?

No, but seriously, it just took .5 seconds to download. According to other posts in this thread, I assume something went wrong, which is why the file is corrupt.

What's happening?
