When I read the thread title I jumped to the conclusion that somebody didn't know that Daggerfall was released for free and came to spread the news, assuming this was something new. :P

Old news indeed, still... I'm glad they did it. I have Daggerfall, but being free now... well... I almost feel safe knowing that if anything were to happen to my copy, I can download the game.

What exactly doesn't work? Any error messages or anything? Kinda hard to help when you don't tell us anything about it.

I'm happy it's free now myself too, cause I've always heard it's the best game of the series (no mods though , but from what I see about it there's enough in it to last someone a while without them). So, I'm gonna install it and then see if I get any bugs.

I would make sure to get the one off Fileplanet (Someone else seemed to have a problem with Bethesda's one). I didn't use any others but that one certainly works and use UESP's guide too. (Couldn't get Bethesda's guide to work for me)

I know. I was thinking the same thing. I'm worried every time I have to take the disc out of it's case that my dog will get curious and paw at it or I'll drop it and scratch it.

Same. I actually made about 3 copies and kept all of them in separate jewel cases. Was pretty paranoid about it. :P
