(Daggerfall) Tips on playing an assassin? : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

I started a Dunmer assassin last night. I got out of the Dungeon and headed to Daggerfall where I sold all of my gear to an equipment trader. I then got arrested twice for resting on accident. xD

I want to join the Dark Brotherhood with my character but I can't seem to stab anyone without hearing HALT. HALT. HALT.

Some information on the bounty system compared to ES3-ES5 would be nice too.

To kill 3 innocents:
Go to a city with a number of people on the outskirts (i.e. outside the walls). Quickly stab/kill 3 people and RUN for the hills until you are "completely" outside the city limits.
You'll always here the HALT, HALT but you can out run the guards. The Dark Brotherhood will contact you in a few days.
(If you got away without being stopped you can re-enter that city and not be bothered by the guards).

Thanks for the reply! I didn't know about the outrunning the guards bit.
