Dowloaded and burned out Daggerfall today and installed it on my old laptop from 98 and the install went fine and I used the patch to.
But when I try to start it tells me that it can't find the CD. what should I do?
I got windows 98 SE on the laptop and I can't install DOSbox becuase I got no USB ports and no internetport on it. and it's 1 gb hdd on it so don't got the space for i.
what should I do to be abel to play?

I remember something like running "fall.exe" instead of "dagger.exe". But I'am not sure.

"Please run DAGGER.EXE to run Daggerfall." that text comes upp when I try it :C

Burn the DOSbox files onto a CD? :shrug: (woops just saw that you said you don't have space for it)

I'm pretty sure it can only run through DOS, also you should just get http://theelderscrolls.wiwiland.net/?title=Daggerfall_:_DaggerfallSetup_EN, it makes for a much easier install.

To get Daggerfall run you must check that Z.CFG file's path and pathcd are pointing to correct drive and folder. And after that open MS-Dos prompt and go to dagger folder and type: fall z.cfg
and game should run fine.
