Thanks for the link! I brought the original DAGGERFALL cd when it first came out and its still in near mint condition so am just using this to keep my cd safe :D I also wanna see how it plays compared to a straight install.

Having never played Daggerfall, I was pretty stoked to learn http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1012682 yesterday.


Yep, I saw those news. I added a link to the download on the list. :)

Excellent list Cliffworms inspiring many a DAGGERFALL memory to rise up from the deep recesses of my subconscious of a cold winters rpging night in the mid 1990s.

Am surprised OSCURO'S OBLIVION OVERHAUL wasnt mentioned considering its sense of realism and incredible danger capturing the mood perfectly of DAGGERFALL where one felt safe and warm in cities yet quite afraid outside the walls of civilization when venturing into the wondrous mysterious wilderness of a vast cold stern world.

At the moment am using MMMforOOO with a few other mods like Galahaut's ATMOSPHERIC LOADING SCREENS which makes things rich with lore goodness just like the golden ol days of TES 2.

At night or during bad weather, the windows of some buildings will show light inside, bringing more immersion when wandering around town during these times. Also, you will notice that smoke gets out of some of the chimneys.
NOTE : Compatible with Open Cities if you use the right compatibility patch included in the package.


A point of order on this one, AWLS does not require a patch of any sort for use with Open Cities. The two work together perfectly as-is.
