Can anyone clarify what this paradox would be? I am slightly tired so I cant really understand at the moment...
Dagoth Ur enters Oblivion.
I cant see anything paradoxical with that?
Making the statement doesn't change anything. I can just say "a square-circle", but just because I can say it doesn't mean its possible.
I'm making the statement based on the assumption that Dagoth Ur would take over Nirn before attempting any move against Oblivion. At that point all of Nirn would be 'in his flesh and of his flesh' and they would all be part of his divine dreamworld, ie, his consciousness would reign supreme - essentially, Dagoth Ur would likely be Mundus just as much as Dagon is his realm, furthermore, Dagoth/Akulakhan corrupts everything he comes into contact with in order to make it part of himself. The question is whether its even possible for him to do this to a daedra, or in Oblivion. Ur connects things to the Heart, which is the Heart of Mundus, the Heart of Lorkhan - can a daedra be connected to the Heart of Mundus, an Aedra?
Essentially, Dagoth going into Oblivion would be forcing the Aedric upon the Daedric, both in realm and spirit - its like the hub/spokes of the wheel trying to become part of the spaces between them... of course like I said, its all just random theorizing, we don't know enough about the nature of the daedra and their realms to say for sure, nor do we really know enough about the nature Dagoth Ur would acquire by that point to say for sure - suffice to say, the figure you saw in
Morrowind would be a spec compared to what Dagoth Ur would become.
