damage distance multiplier?

Does Fallout 4 use a calculation for damage decrease over a distance, for explosions?


I'm messing with Mini Nukes and noticed that the difference of a just a couple pixels is all or nothing for damage.


Anyone found something that can be adjusted to step down damage over distances? Or may this be a G.E.C.K. thing?
