You seem like a helpful bunch, but I wasn't sure where to put this, so I'll just stick it here.


My roommate has a 40" Samsung Series 3 330 LCD TV and it has a black line running vertically through the picture.

At first it was intermittent, but lately it hasn't been going away and is starting to drive me mad. Do any of you know of a way to fix it myself, like a simple software reset?
or will it have to be taken to a repair technician?

A repair technician is the way to go, you won't be able to fix it yourself.
