I was going through the campaign and got to the bit where the enclave killed dad. before i did that i was told to go through the building and kill any threat. as i was doing so i decitergrated a super mutant above the tunnel where you escape from later in the game (the one which leads to the citadel) and every time i want to go into the tunnel it searches the ash pile. please help if you know a way round this.

If you look around from enough angles you should find a way around the ash pile.

If you're on PC you can despawn the ash pile.

Also, this should be in the Spoiler section or edited, I know it's an old game but there are still new players and you put a major spoiler in your post.
