Damn it Turbotax

I hate taxes, I hate to do them myself more importantly. This year is especially difficult, as I have moved back and forth between two states. And Turbotax, the one thing I trust to do my taxes besides myself is down... My taxes aren't complicated, I don't deduct anything, don't claim anyone, etc. I just have to file 2 state returns and a federal one this year and the only way I have found to get a tax return form for the other state I lived in is to drive the 2 hours there and back. I guess I'll just keep on waiting for it to be back up for now. Why is it that every time something, anything, has to connect to the government it gets 1000 times more complicated than it should be?

Buy TurboTax rather than try and use it online?

You could mail a letter with a SASE asking for them to send you forms, or better yet, every state has it's own forms online (with instructions)...just find the department of revenue for that state and go to their download section.
