I think my problem is that I get a character that I like, then either the internet tells me I'm wrong, or gives me an idea for something else.
But there are ideas for tons of 'sth else'. And to hell w/ the internet telling u r wrong, that should not matter at all for u.
Sometimes I am torn between 2 or 3 class builds that I t hink are all good, sometimes one feels beter, other times another. i may ask for advice and someone may have a very compelling argument towards something different about my character, but it is my preference that validates that or not.
Give u an example: my favourite character has Security and Speechcraft among her major skills. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that i could ditch these two and have restoration replace them, so id be more 'efficient' (coz Restoration can creates spells w/ increase Security and Speechcraft skill 100 pts / 1 sec, so who needs them?).
But when i see 'major skill' means character definition. to me a shadow assassin who uses infiltration, deceit and seduction as important skills as archery, MUST have these two in their major skills. no matter how 'non-efficient' this build would look, nor what 'the internet' says.
seems to me u still must 'fall in love' with ur character. like some ppl said in other posts, once u find it, u know it.
