Dangerous Rabbits

Post » Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:35 am

We all know this scene... Well, 'us older folks' know this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99X8WDQWAKg

The reason why I put this, other than the fact that it's classic, is do you want, or perhaps expect humorous easter eggs in Skyrim?

Perhaps a hostile rabbit in front of a dungeon?

Or do you feel that it would go against Skyrim's serious, less cartoony nature?

Why do you assume only older folks have seen Monty Python?

Anyways maybe some Easter Eggs, I would almost prefer an option or a trait like Wild Wasteland from Fallout: New Vegas.

lol, I didn't think I always do that... lol, the chances are- if you're in your mid-20's or later- you KNOW Monty Python's The Holy Grail. Younger generations are hit or miss.

That would be a funny easter egg, like the gremlin easter egg when a Deathclaw attacks you from a Doghouse in OWB.

They talked about this quite a lot in the Easter egg idea thread, However i would personally not like this though wild wasteland would work for other people who don't share my view.

I certainly wouldn't mind being attacked by an aggressive rabbit waiting outside of a dungeon, as long as its attacks aren't OP as the referenced source material.

No fantasy game is complete without Monty Python references.

Much more suited for Skyrim : years ago there was an article in Dragon magazine, April Fool's day special, with new monsters for AD'n'D, including that timeless classic, the Killer Spruce.

"Older Folk"
I'm 15 and "MP: The Holy Grail" is one of my dear favorites. Some of us have good parents :P

Regarding the topic, YES! That would be hilarious. I was thinking just at the entrance of a dungeon, they should have a dead rabbit and next to it lay there a Holy Hand Grenade. Lol. Or in a dungeon they have a writing on the wall scripted "ARGHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh.." hahaha!

I demand an easter egg from each scene in the movie!

The scene with the one knight rushing into the castle and stabbing random civilians would work so perfectly with an Imperial Legion guard running up and yelling "STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!!!!"

But... would he have angry eyebrows painted onto his horse?

while this thread is mostly asking for MP easter eggs, I would love it if i was woundering around and found a dead wolf/werewolf called Genius, with a live rabbit next to it, and on the wolf would be a reciepe for rabbit stew.

But coconuts aren't native to Skyrim! Were a temperate alpine climate! Coconuts are tropical!
.... Are you suggesting coconuts MIGRATE?!

lol, there are just so many MP scenes that would make humorous easter eggs, but the motive of this thread was 'humorous easter eggs.'

I don't want "over-the-top" humorous easter eggs, just simple, funny if you get the reference, easter eggs.

Haha, if only Skyrim had dismemberment. Then, when killing an enemy by cutting off a limb, his dying words could be "'Tis but a scratch!" or "It's only a flesh wound!"

Thanks, I haven't gotten owb yet. Either you just spoiled a really good moment, or every dog house I see in owb will cause me to change my pants.
