Danse glitched out, went hostile, and has no vanished

Edit, subject: "NOW* vanished"

So does anyone has a nifty console command to get my Danse back?

We were getting along just wonderfully, when - during a fight against some gunners - I kept getting a popup asking to which settlement did I want to send Danse As if I was replacing him with another companion. But this was in the middle of a scrap ... no switching of companions was going on ... so i canceled that windows and carried on with the fight.

He suddenly glitched and went hostile against me. I retreated (because talking to him wouldn't work) and fast traveled the heck out of there.

And lo and behold: no Danse.

I went back to the police stations; he's not there either.

I went back to where I left him: he's not there.

From behind glued to my hip for the last 30 hrs, Danse has just disappeared.

What console commands will get him back and is there a command to correct his hostile behavior?

Are you sure there was no civilian amongst the Gunners? Had this happen with Piper, turns out throwing a Molotov at a group of raiders pissed her of since they were attacking a vault dweller that was in between them. Got the same pop-up message and Piper turned hostile, I realised what happened and re-loaded.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

AWOL paladin? To fanfiction.net!

...

Aaanyways, I think the right commands are first "help Danse 0" to find out his base ID and then "player.placeatme ". It makes a new copy of him, so he has only his default equipment. Also, if the original is out there somewhere, you'll have two Danses... again to fanfiction.net!

thanks. I'm going to see about using a moveto command vs. generating a new danse, but the help Danse 0 is the key for me getting his id

Oh yeah, moveto might be the better option.

I hope it works. My wife in Skyrim disappeared after the wedding (usually they disappear before the wedding). Disappearing characters is an annoying bug.
