Danse's romance

Post » Fri Jan 15, 2016 11:55 pm

You get the option to romance even if you skip the flirt options? I had no idea. Though if anything, the first flirt option with Danse comes off as more natural than the second (needing a hug lol), if I remember correctly.

You can but it makes the final persuade harder so I wouldn't try it if you don't have a high charisma.

Or Quicksave before attempting! :P

But, yeah, that's cool to know that I don't have to flirt in order to get the romance option. Some flirt opportunities for companions come off as awkward timing, lol. Mostly with the companions who are having something serious to say.

I think the flirt options are there just so you can make the companion uncomfortable.

Lol, perhaps. Though some flirting comes off a bit more naturally than others.

The best mod for Danse in my book is the Buzz Lightyear paint job on his power armor. :P

I actually thought the second flirt was super cute. :)

The things people have suggested (Graqe Mentats, alcohol, dresses or suits, other special clothing items) will increase your charisma. Most dresses and suits give +2, and some hats will give you an additional +1. Most alcohol will give you +1, and Graqe Mentats will give you +5. You could go from 0 Charisma to 9 Charisma is you use all of these things.

I thought the flirt options with Danse were really cute, because of his awkwardness. :D

Beautifully said! Very fitting and so very true. I can see either gender, not only admiring Danse, but even go so far as to actually love him for who he is and what he stands for.

And yes, the post Betrayal BoS Dialogue should have been adjusted, at least some of it (the part where he says that synths should be exterminated... lol)

Lol, I've seen images of that, and it's just plain silly. XD I just want him out of the armor for good, haha... But, at least for now I can keep his BoS Hood off so it's not so bad... I never knew what hairstyle he had until I discovered I could unequip it. :o Somehow, seeing his hair makes him look a bit younger than when he has the hood on.

Speaking as someone who isn't interested in romancing Danse, I still think of him as the companion that's the best 'bro'. The male sole survivor is former military and that's exactly what Danse is -- military. Two veterans able to get along and deal with each other with little difficulty.

My first playthrough, I'd just go stomp around the Glowing Sea for an evening and shoot up Radscorpions, but do MQ stuff with Piper.

Sound weird?

I believe you must do this first before going to the Glowing sea to collect the nukes.

Spoiler
If you dont install the sniffer pack given to you by the lady in the PA frame the BOS will never know about Dance's issue. So going to the glowing sea might not trigger this quest.

SCREAMING AT SETTLEMENTsixUAL.

On a side note, I loved Danse because the idea of having an army man next to you is extremely exciting. After watching Chappie, any form of synthetic life has a place in my heart :P.

I haven't romanced any of the other ones as yet because either way I plan to play other characters.

Also, how do I recruit Hancock?

Complete the Big Dig with Bobbi No Nose, walk around the neighborhood and someone may mention her and trigger the quest or look for her in an alley in Goodneighbor.

I know this is hard for some people to understand, but most men don't really appreciate it when you point at their crotch and start laughing hysterically. Stop doing that and he might warm up to you. :P

He's a robot, we probably can build a workshop to improve it to enhanced, superior, and exceptional, probably upgrade it to automatic as well. I'm still looking to find the magazine for vibration mode.

Actually, cyborg would probably be a better term for Gen3 Synths. Living tissue, manufactured mechanical parts and electronics all in one package. The Gen 1 and Gen 2 Synths could be thought of as robots. Either way, he still won't appreciate having Mr. Willy laughed at.
