What is the Hist?

You should do the fighters guild quests in oblivion or read 'Infernal City' or read this:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Hist

It's not so clear (as far as I know) what exactly the hist is, some kind of a plant or other lifeform that controls or manipulates the argonians.
The argonians can hear the voice of the hist. I don't know if they must do what the hist says or if it's their free will.
I think if you ask that in the lore section of this forums you get better answers.

But the hist is very important in the attack of Morrowind by the Argonians.

Ahhhh yes, I remember. I forgot about that. Makes sense.

Also, clearly if you read the thread you can see why she deserves a place in the next game.

And to the guy who thinks a picture of a dog with it's tongue out is anything more than a picture of a generic dog (and that I didn't play fallout); lol

I agree with larry. Dar-Ma is a bit of a legend!

I think there's no chance she'll make a cameo return for Skyrim, but she may have written an in-game book about her ordeal and rescue from the champion...

Is she hot? ... no

Dar-Ma is of ill repute. Urkul Gro-Orkul from Slash and Smash had her and her mother at the same time. So did several others, including Uriel after he heard of it.

I see no reason for this Argonian to be in Skyrim. Firstly, because she is just a very generic and unimportant character, Secondly, she'll be probably dead.

Will she return in Skyrim as a wise scholar? Will we see her ancestors?

I don't know Argonians' average lifespans, but I'd say you're not likely to meet any ancestors you haven't already- so at best it'll be Dar-Ma and her mom.

Maybe a tribe worshiping her name. I personally think she should be remembered as she has such a big role in guiding the Champion of Cyrodil.

By getting abducted by wackjobs? Hunh? What? I'm lost now...

Really, her merry attitude inspires the people of Chorrol. Ever noticed that the guards there fight harder after she's been rescued?

 Uh, is Dr. Phil in the house? His services are direly needed...

I want to see Amusei return, just so I can hear someone say "Amusei, you say?" again. It's so fun to say.

Dar-Ma was useless. Her positive attitude after the event will delude the young children of Skyrim to not be wary of kidnappers. That would explain all the kids being dragged off to dungeons.

I don't get it.. Dar-Ma is one of the most central characters in all of the TES universe! When she shouted at me.. "Please, let me out of here! You must help me escape. I think these creatures plan to do something horrible to me tonight!" I knew I found the most interesting character in the whole game... I jest obviously, but likely Dar-Ma will be dead, but I would expect another quest-line based around Lovecraftian fiction.

I have evidence that Dar-Ma will be in Skyrim! She is visible in the trailer - I took the clip and put it in this video:

I think that fact so many people remember her is reason enough... If someone could show this thread to Todd, itd be much appreciated.

Also, I do know who dogmeat is, it's just that his avatar can't be identified as dogmeat without you being told that that dog is infact, dogmeat.

It's as remembered as any other minor character involved in a quest, and the dog can be identified with Dogmeat if you look at its eyes.

Can you remember the name of that woman who's husband went mad and had an axe that he wants back? Nope.

I don't believe you.

I'm afraid I didn't do that quest. I couldn't remember Dar-Ma's name anyway, but I could remenber the character, as I can remember lots of them. I'm sure a lot of people here didn't remember the name either, and they googled it.
