Hell yeah Dar-Ma!

Is eight pages not a signal of our love?

It's a signal of our reaction to your... strange love towards that character.

Not love. Solemn respect and appreciation for how she shaped the path of history.

This thread will go down in forum lore as the Dar-Ma, The Beauty thread. :)

I remember Dar-Ma's horse m.o.v.i.n.g..v.e.r.y..s.l.o.w.l.y........and I was glad to rescue her.

I think this thread is special because it's one of the very few threads in this part of the forum which does not criticize something or is complaining about something.
It's just entertaining, like a thread should be :)

Hooray! But I am kind of complaining. Complaining about all the Dar-Ma haters!
Whilst I am bored, that's not the reason I made this thread. That was out of appreciation of a wonderful character, who has shaped the fate of Cyrodil.

I hope she appears in the game as a good pair of boots!

You walk into a Dunmer tailor shop and look over in the back. You see a nice bair of leather scaley boots colored a greenish with a hint of pink. you go near them and read the emblems inside that read "Of Dar-Ma, whose uplifting attitude brought her folly down the stairs."

... ok. You're right. Dar-Ma is the most important character ever. Darn, who's the Nerevarine? Who's the Champion of Cyrodiil? Dar-Ma is far more important. She... she... well, she only was kidnapped bu strange guys... but she did it very well!

If she is not in Skyrim, I'm not buying it!

Whilst I'm glad to see you have changed your beliefs to that which is correct, I'd like to point out that her importance has it's roots in her positive attitude and their inspiring stories she tells the Hero.

I agree with larry. Dar-Ma is a bit of a legend!

I think there's no chance she'll make a cameo return for Skyrim, but she may have written an in-game book about her ordeal and rescue from the champion...

Is she hot? ... no

Mate, She done nothing, if anything, She should be writing the book about the Champion

Noooo, the one you rescue from Hackdirt. Surely I can't be the only person to have been fascinated by her character?

What character? She doesn't have any character. She's some random damsel in distress that you save during some random quest.

Talk about out of left field.

He was being sarcastic, and you are a sad little man/boy who is in love with a fictional Lizard. That is creepy and its a wonder that this hasn't been locked yet. She is not that important. And for creeping me out so much with ur fantasising about her, I accidently made her follow her into the great forest, Where I dropped the totems for all the goblin tribes. She was massacred, it was hilairious. (I would reccommend that as an excecution for annoying people, adoring fan etc.

regards,
Savvers

To be fair, I can actually see the appeal of Dar-ma; though there's no encompassing and tangible depth to her whatsoever, if it's the first damsel-in-distress that your character saves, it can form an attachment of sorts. And I've heard a lot of people on this forum express the same sentiment. But all that's either just in-character happenstance, or external character-building through RP.

But as to the whole enshrining her or what-not, unrealistic-and-slightly-pathetic wishes are unrealistic-and-slightly-pathetic.

The failure to understand satire on this board is brilliant.

ANYWAY

No, you clearly haven't found the secret entrance in her bedroom, by the bed. Many tales down there. And surely I'm not the only who occasionally wanders around just behind her, watching her inspire the town.

You're bored. We're bored. Maybe the true failure of satire is to miss that your satire has been satirized.

Someone of these people aren't being satirical, we both know that.

But really, all the Dar-Ma haters haven't enjoyed listening in on the conversation between her and her captors.

In all honesty it's hard to detect satire and sarcasm with text only.

It's very easy to see "annoying troll" when in fact someone is trying to be "ironic humorist."

It's not trolling, I truly believe that she was ad is great character who is vastly underappreciated.

As do many other people of you look in the thread. So do you think she should be in Skyrim?

I like Dar Ma, definitely the hottest lizard I've ever met, but I seriously doubt she'll be in Skyrim. Kinda sad, but I'm sure they'll include another sixy character (and most likely one that is more accepted by the community).

That is just what she wants you to think! She is actually a creature of unspeakable evil. She will most definitely return in Skyrim, as a lich! That was why she wanted to murder all of Chorrol and Hackdirt, so she can perform necromantic rituals on them, so one day she could finally learn to become one of the most evil forms that a creature could take, a lich! Woe be unto you if you did not stop her while you had the chance....
