OP - don't be discouraged! I heartily share your appreciation for the good dame Dar-Ma, and whilst not being thoroughly inspired by her, I can claim her as my personal favourite inhabitant of my favourite town. (She was so darn nice and just plain lovely!)

That said, this thread is infested by Orc propagandists and Khajiit haters succumbing to their sadistic instincts of heinous murder and argonianslaughter.

Exactly. I think it's no coincidence that everyone who hates her, is also sick enough to kill her out of said hate.

I'm trying to decide whether or not this is a joke thread cause he sounds pretty serious but I mean really? Dar-Ma? I never even heard of her until my second or third play through

Dar-Ma is amazing! I was having a rotten day, but after I helped her out, I actually felt better!

Bethesda, you nailed it yet again with amazing character creation.

Dar-Ma? God I hated her. Also, this has got to be about the dumbest thread I've ever seen, no offense to you personally OP. However, there are more important things here to discuss.

ATTENTION DEVS OF SKYRIM, ARE YOU READING THIS POST?! Seriously, if this isn't proof that we need new game info now, I don't know what is. When we've run out of things to talk about to the point that people start making threads dedicated to annoying, absolutely pointless and meaningless characters, it's time to give us some more info.

Also, this thread seems completely trollish.

That is just what she wants you to think! She is actually a creature of unspeakable evil. She will most definitely return in Skyrim, as a lich! That was why she wanted to murder all of Chorrol and Hackdirt, so she can perform necromantic rituals on them, so one day she could finally learn to become one of the most evil forms that a creature could take, a lich! Woe be unto you if you did not stop her while you had the chance....

Liches don't nessecarily have to be evil. I can think of a few good reasons a person would like to stay alive, maybe they are very intelligent in the arts of healing and through lichdom they have made it their lich life goal to cure very serious ailments and such so they can study these long tasks without worries for food, water, sleep, and such.

This has been the best thread in awhile IMO, it keeps me amused.

Dar-Ma doesn't just inspire Chorrol. She inspires Anvil and Cheydinhal and Hammerfell and Summerset Isle and Akavir and Aetherius and Sheogorath. She even has special sappy piano music and slow-motion running to inspire us all.

Don't worry. It's almost up to 200 posts, so it will be locked.

Now, if he makes a Dar-Ma Part 2 thread I'll fly into a rage.

Especially if he doesn't deliver on the Dar-Ma erotic fan fiction he's obviously working on.

I will start it if nobody else will. Seriously, this thread is amazing, although it should go in the OB general discussion forum. Each thread should be about a different NPC in Oblivion that played absolutely no role whatsoever, and we express our love for them. Or, in the case of Dar-Ma, we attempt to expose their insane, murderous plots.

It was an April 1 thread demanding that corn be included in Skyrim. It filled up and was locked, then a second thread was started, but locked almost immediately.

Dar-Ma, you've captured hearts
With fleeting hopes a remembered past
May your scaly touch, with eternal lust
Remain forever only ours.

Rescued friends beyond compare
Need no more whispers in the air,
For one met gaze skips lover's beats
And with a lizard tongue none can compete.

Bravo!

I like this thread. It's good to see this thread lasted. The OP seems to feel as strongly about the subject as ever and there's nothing really wrong with what he's getting at. I think we've all comes across cetain characters in the games which we've liked more than others, and wished they were involved in more content. Perhaps after seeing this thread, someone up at Bethesda might dedicate a book to her for Skyrim. Then in we can all read about the adventures of Dar-Ma! :read:

Yeah!

This thread has turned me into a major Argonian-fan. Never thought that would happen.

(Buuut, Khajiits still rule supreme ;))
