Have any of YOU orc/necromancer scum ever survived being captured and kept in a town strongly inspired by a book, which itself has haunting undertones; and still been the merriest in town?

No, but i have woke up to find myself surrounded by ghosts, oh and by the way i have caught Porphyric hemophilia. And then i have fought Jyggalag and Umaril. Oh and i have stood right next to Mehrunes Dagon.

Or the devs don't care about Dar-Ma and she will eternally be dead in many many Oblivion saves.

Dar-Ma and Amusei were my favorites in Oblivion. Maybe not Dar-Ma herself, but another Argonian that my hero can love will be available in Skyrim.

I'm a weird lizard player, so Dar-Ma was just the right girl for my character.

Still I don't think she should be mentioned in Skyrim. I don't think she was that special. She isn't M'aiq the Liar.

What you don't know is what happened shortly AFTER the events of the main quest. Dar-Ma took up singing and became the Lady Gaga of her time. She was impaled on a wooden lower case T and expired to lift the curse of iniquity from Nirn, and three cycles later she returned to life and ascended.

She should be a dead body on a bed with an Orc. While two fine Nords named Larry and Bob watched.

After reading this thread, I traveled to Hackdirt (where i kept her in her cell) and killed her, just so i could guarantee she would not make it to Skyrim.

Yeah, :nono: to the trolls. The M'aiq's comment is obviously the developers' sarcasm. The new appearances weren't so great.

But I still don't see how Dar-Ma could be hated, except for being an Argonian. "Best daughter a mother could ever had, nice and friendly to everyone". Something like that. Only an evil character kills a nice person.

Lol are you (op) aware how many deaths you will have caused Dar Ma with this thread in the days to come? Some people who otherwise ignored her or even saved her will now kill her because exaggerations like these usually trigger reversed reactions.

Haha, well I think you can just be lucky if you aren't a mindless sheep/drone who blindly follows any suggestions you see without thinking it further. Anyway everyone can decide themselves how they use (or waste) their time in a singleplayer game.

Dar-Ma is far too incompetent to make it to Skyrim. She couldn't even travel from Hackdirt to Chorrol in my game.

*Rescues Dar-Ma from the Hackdirt Caverns*

"Thank you for saving me, I'll meet you back at my mother's store in Chorrol."

2 minutes later a journal entry flashes on my screen: Dar-Ma has died. I should inform her mother at Northern Goods and Trade. "WHAT!?"

Yep, that happens sometimes. Sometimes she follows you nicely, sometimes she rides off and gets herself killed. Don't wander too far from her horse after she goes to climb on it IF you want her to survive.
