Oh hell yeah. There are tons of people who would love to see this game...I dunno for PC. But the PS2 and Xbox versions of Dark Alliance 1 and 2 are two games that we CANNOT keep on our shelves. Sometimes we send people out the door with games like, "Champions of Norrath" or, "Marvel Ultimate Alliance"...a couple of times Gauntlet INSTEAD of the game they originally wanted to get, which was Baulder's Gate. Quality over quantity, but don't make something so highly qualified that it doesn't exist right? 'Cmon gamesas. Let's put SOMETHING out!

I messaged the Customer Service and they said
Hi Eric!
"We haven't announced any details about another Dark Alliance game. We hope to be able to say something in the near future."

Sincerely,
-gamesas
So I think their making one and if we keep trying we might be able to get more out of them

There is absolutely no way there can't be a third Dark Alliance in the makings with how the story and ending are to Dark Alliance 2. I am excited and looking forward to a third game in the series. The first two were awesome, I can only imagine how the third will play out. :D

hi people

i think that if people actually want the game to come out we should do something...possibly set up main baldurs gate website

with everything on and if enough people join maybe start a fund were all the members can donate something like a couple of dollars (or whatever depending on your country)

and if we get enough present it to gamesas or whoever owns the rights and make the game happen!

along with the fund we can have forums which will have polls on it to decide what new features people want and which ones we have to keep...?

tell me what you think..?

I don't think funding is the problem, the Caen brothers and I assume the board of directors as well have bee really good with getting investments and such for projects (going by the frontpage). I don't think time or commitments are the issue either, finding a developer and market conditions are usually a motivating factor.

We as gamers and fans don't need to do anything at this point other than wait, gamesas has expressed interest in the past to do a sequel.

At the same time, the company will leverage its portfolio of gaming properties by creating sequels to some of its most successful games, including Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent, and MDK.

if everything has been taken care of as you say why hasnt their been a game produced?!

i cant understand why they would wait all these years if they had the funds to do it.
as many people want the game by waiting for years they have aloud different games to take over..

if their a main website for baldurs gate because typing it in to google nothing comes up? maybe thy should do that so they can connect with the fans again?

RE: Market conditions, finding a developer, etc.

gamesas only "came back" in 2008 IIRC after emerging from bankruptcy protection. They have a lot on their plate as is and have already expressed interest pretty recently in returning to the Dark Alliance franchise.
