RP: Dark Apotheosis - OOC disscusion

Post » Wed Jan 20, 2016 12:21 am

If either group gets held up by one or two people for too long, should we allow for the old rule of "minimal character control to get things moving again?" Might alleviate some of the pressure and help people feel like they're not stalling their entire group.

And I'm certain I don't know what you're all talking about. Me? Sass?

Well i think verlox just got back from holidays so i would assume a post will be incoming from him and then i will think about that..i just dont want to have others not get a word in before moving forward you know? I agree that it would help keep the flow though we are meant to be taking it slower.

I am still tempted to make that lobby RP to keep the activity going while waiting. Just dont want to fall back into a slump, but this is meant to be our slow re-emergance so we should be a little more lenient because we all lead busier lives now.

Besides i need reactions and doing a minor character control will ruin that reaction i will not have that oppourtunity fall at the wayside, i will not.

Comedy genuis will not go unanswered.xD

This is what you get for having Ordinators make jokes, Shadow.

It's unnatural and you should be ashamed. ;)

So, Uncle Zelric is doing some Super Important Life Stuff? and has asked me to fill in for him temporarily with Caius Cosades. I'll be making a post for him either tonight or tomorrow to unstick everyone in Group One. Just figured I'd give a heads-up here.

[censored] it Verlon is going to go on tour if his jokes are that starkstikingly awesome, who knows tamriel might become united because an ordinator made a joke.. You cannot repress comical genius!

But on that note i might at least tey to break this briefing so everyonw will be free to begin their search, I will add awkward silence to the briefing of no one else responds :P

Go for it, I'm sure there'll be plenty more opportunities for comedy genius.

Nope, unless it is some twisted racist humor being a Dunmer and a Ordinator, i don't see any other funny moments that will come to past. Spoil sports i thought it was done perfectly, and i know i locked everything waiting for Verlox, but i had hoped we wouldnt have been locked as long as we had and i even editied out the locked in part for at least a response, but i guess it probably didn't matter anyway.

well meeting adjourned and we can now do something else and forget it ever happened xD

I don't really want to rush Verlox either, but Gerald is tired of the talk. He's Fighter's Guild and killing rats is an amateur's job so this Defender just wants to get on with it. :P

I hadn't posted because I was waiting for Epic Scroll to acknowledge Gerald was holding a hand in front of him. But I threw in a comment to acknowledge your joke at least, Shadow.

Yes, IN. Yes he did.

...

Aulakauss, hurry up and unfreeze us so we can get this [censored] rolling. We need to complete our first quest before them (side quests don't count, HA!) so we can rub their smug Ordinator faces in it.

With group 2 it seems that we may need to not split off again, though with everyone being quite busy, i guess we are trying not to lock anyone, but by doing so may make everything progress more slowly.

So i may just do a small post regarding the questioning before finding the information needed and following those who entered the sewers to move that forward. perhaps finding something that the others that have stayed behind might be able to do.. Hmm i may need to do an NPC post as well to at least have something else happening to keep people wanting to keep going on in it.

Group 1 seems to be quite active in comparision but i am sure that we will figure some way to keep the activeness going.

I think it's just FC for the sewers at the moment... we may need to re-think that. I was going on the assumption you were going to find something in the sewers that would instigate the questioning. At the moment we're in 4 separate locations, so it's all a bit scattered...

I'll think Avarys will be more useful in the sewers.

Anyways, I'll get a post up tonight.

Yeah, i may need to edit the post to have them go down there, maybe do some on site questioning , might actually be better than being scattered. Easily fixed if no one else has responded yet. Didn't think that through right away we can reduce the amount of scattering by just merging the idea into the other one. So Editing in progress

I was actually thinking Verlon would likely end up doing some interrogating on his own. And I've been holding off on another post to give Verlox a chance.

Well if we happen to find the one responsible, i will be able to have fun with soloing that event, but for now i am sure that it would not really be as useful with the victims, as they aren't going to know a single thing so coming along for now will be useful and saves us all from becoming separated and it would just branch off completely and confuse people. just trying to have it flow but also not leave anyone behind. I tried to get in contact with Verlox but haven't been able to get a reply, so hopefully he does get back in and post something, don't want him to be left behind in this.

We may have to Char. Control him briefly just so he can tag along, but leave him to do the internal monologues. I don't want to, but I don't want to leave him either.

But we have been quite speedy of late, so I am fine with letting Group 1 catch up a little bit.

The reason Group One appears more active is that currently, the activities and progress seem to break down as such:

Group Two:

- Working on preliminary Corprus/Blight cure

- Mustering forces to deal with Blighted Rat infestation

- Interrogating N'wah Scum

- Tending the sick and wounded

Group One:

- Figuring out what the hell is going on

- Attempting to be social and failing

- Endeavoring not to injure each other (success pending)

- Preparing to go dig a rubix cube out of a crypt

Group Two is doing important things. This requires careful planning and teamwork. Us in Group One seem to be forged of the Madgod's whims, which has so far allowed us the luxury of posting a lot without doing much. This may change in times to come, granted, however..

Certainly not, Elgen. Death is so final. No more squabbling back and forth, no more snarky remarks. And who wants that? No, I think a non-lethal maiming is the worst anybody in Group One has to worry about. And who knows? Maybe a big melee between everybody would help clear the air.
