RP: Dark Apotheosis - OOC disscusion

Well, IN, if it's of any consolation, I think it's more a matter of "when" than "if."

Also, I think that Vyk may have picked up on Nevena's and Ja'Rikki's less than forceful natures, and is handling it in a calm, level-headed fashion. The more I write for her, the more I feel like I'm basically writing for a female version of Vegeta.

I liked that post, Zelric! It was brilliant to see Sinclaire's reactions to everyone and it also served to wrap up our time with Caius nicely.

I think we need to wait for Elgen and Uglius before we move on at this point, though.

Shadow has tried to contact Verlox with little success. Given we are further along in our quests than Group 1, I wish to give Verlox until the Weekend to post. If I don't see a post by Saturday evening, I will personally handle Verlox's Redoran until his return.

Well guess what? Your Rom-Com just turned into a psychological thriller.

How's that popcorn taste now!?

Urghk. Note to self: If a post gets interrupted enough that it takes more than ten hours to finish, say 'screw it' and start over fresh the next day.

It's good until the halfway mark or so, I guess. After that, I apologize. So many revisions and interruptions.

Aula, don't worry -- it was great. Really shows how there's a lot going on in Rikki right now and conveys her true nature.

Also reveals some sneaky hints about whoever she's reminded of. That mystery person from her past. So mysterious. Who ARE they and what is their secret? *stares pointedly at Shadow*

Well, from you, Illusionary, as well as Zelric and Nova.. I apparently don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to my own post quality, heh. Thanks.

As for sneaky hinting.. well.. that was entirely an accident but, hell, I'll roll with it! Here I was thinking I was being obvious.

Score one for happy accidents!

As easy as it is for me to keep other peoples' secrets, I find that I have the horrible impulse to spoil everything ahead of time concerning my writing.

Must.. keep.. quiet..

That whole "keeping it short" idea sure was neat for the first, what? Four pages? Alas...

Anyway, wanted to shed some light on Vyk's behaviour, so there it is. Ta da...?

Oooh could it be something a certain type of 'healer ' can help with, but this struggle is going to be interesting

Ok guys, the removal crew (ie my future in-laws) have just arrived so the hone move is beginning in earnest. Mobile only until at least Thursday (unless I steal some WiFi from work...) . Have fun in the sewers boys, bring me back something pretty (or something Eyra can cut open and dissect).

Just by show of hands, are any of our mages not under some sort of curse?

I hope the move goes smoothly, SoE!

And yeah, I think it's brilliant that our magefolk are all cursed. I mean, we ARE (possibly) the Nerevarines, we need some decent heroic baggage.

My characters come standard with a full Broken Hero Baggage Package. I'm always prepared.

It's certainly going to be interesting seeing where the cavalcade of broken characters ends up going from here. Everyone's characters are getting very interesting indeed. I just hope Group Two can get haulin' again. Poor Shadow..

At long last: Group One is going to do something productive, lol. Go us!

Also.. I see you lurking, Rohugh, you cheeky internet bear, you. Hiya, buddy. :P

Rohugh is here!? But I thought him defeated at Shadow Moses...

...I mean, hey pal! Glad to see you weren't crushed beneath Metal Gear or something!

I don't know if they're all "curses," per say, but most of our mages do seem to be suffering from some difficulties. And with the exception of Adeth's "Son of Fyr," I think all of our magic users are women, too. In fact, I think that with one exception, all the female characters in the roleplay so far are using magic of some sort.

I honestly don't know where I'm going with this.

Best of luck with the move, SoE. See you on the far side.

I wouldn't use the word curse for Inz.... I don't think she'd agree either :P

But I am really enjoying learning more about everyone elses characters.

It is really interesting to see how everyone's character's are progressing. I do like the fact that the majority of the mages have some difficulties in one form or another, as it does lead to some interesting places when we learn more.

Hmm i think i am still locked after reading the thread up until this point, but i guess i can use an NPC to interrupt and start moving everything forward. Even though i hate doing that kind of thing (which is why i have been waiting) I feel that if we don't get the sewer crawling started, we could start losing steam in group 2.

Well by the time you are back SoE i am sure that you will have all manner of presents to cut up and have fun with :P just have to get down there and collect them.

Yeah, I think that, in the interest of keeping our momentum up, we shouldn't be afraid to progress each group's story if one or two people haven't posted for a couple of days.

Me and This_is_not are planning on making a post together, it's been in the works for the past few days its just been hard as i've just gone back to work this past week after my time off.

Will try and get one out soon, luckily i think we are the last two around the tree and are going to travel their seperate from everyone else so don't worry about advancing, as long as we can get a post out before you reach the bridge that would be fine.

Okay it has been long enough, i am going to start posting. Now with the sewers it is going to be much larger than the game world one, so what will be happening is more of a splitting up to cover more ground kind of thing to look for anything out of place while rat exterminating, so what you find will be left up to you until we all converge on a place of interest. That way less locking off and can lead to a bit of activity and creativity.

Now i m going to have it that Verlox's character is with us so if someone wants to control him until either he does come back or we figure out something else. so let's get Group 2 moving before group one gets too far ahead xD
