I am trying to create a character that is closest to what would most likely be canon.I figured that would be the best way to cure my restartitis.

Ok so there isn't any achievment if you destroy the Dark Brotherhood,which in my opinion means that the DB is supposed to survive and assassinate Titus Mede II.Meaning the Dark Brotherhood story is canon.

Which would also mean that the Dragonborn supporting the Stormcloaks is also more likely to be a canon,because it doesn't make any sense to join the Legion and then kill the Emperor + the quest is ''To kill an Empire''.This might not be a metaphor and it really might mean that the glory days of the Empire are over and Tamriel is back to a state similar to the one in the Second Age after Versidue Shaie is killed.

Any thoughts on that?

Maybe they will play their "dragon break" card again and TES VI will say the Dragonborn joined both sides...which i dont support as good canon but they made the QLs this way so it is on them to make it work
