Checked for bug notes on the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:A_Knife_in_the_Dark, but couldn't find anything. What I'm having troubles with is:
7. Once you reach the doors to the Sanctuary speak the password you were given to enter and meet your new family procreated in blood.

I'm lowest rank murderer, level 44 Breton Mage, about 75% difficulty, currently no bounty, fame higher than infamy. Activating the door in the basemant does nothing. I'm not challenged with a question that I was given the answer to. Is something missing in my inventory, to properly set this off? Is there anything I'm missing? I've done this several times in the past without hickups, but it's way back since DB was my kind of guild. Just thought I'd have a last blast before Skyrim.

Well, if you have met Luciene Lechance and did Rufio in and talked to L.L. after, but still get this problem, then :shrug:

Well, did those already. Quest status was 30, which seems correct. But still no go on activating the door. I tried cheating using CoC CheydinhalSanctuary, and that immediately raised quest status to 40, as expected. Talked to Ocheeva, which made quest complete. Exiting the door at this point worked ok, but still no getting back in. So, keep on cheating I guess.

Not sure if relevant, but I got some poisoned apples already. Not sure if I'm supposed to. Also the first mate (woman) and some dude of the pirate ship are already dead (they attacked me, just for being a bit nosy ), I read there are DB quest for this thing, maybe that broke it? Will see how it ends.
