Is there a way you can become a target of the Dark Brotherhood?

In one of my characters, I want them to come after me. Perhaps having a bounty on my head.

oh like in morrowind you wake up and get attacked. Thought we had bounty hunters for that though?

Are they officially in?

Yes.

Todd officially confirmed that the Dark Brotherhood are in Skyrim, and that you can join them if you so choose.

I'm not sure if they'd put official hits on your out of revenge. They kill who the night mothers tells them to kill.

lol idk.... would be cool if someone put a hit on you. then if you were already one of them you could be walking through the sactuary and another brother walks up and would be like "hay you know that bar keep that you stole all that fine brandy from? well yeah he just put a hit on you... you might wanna do something about that. :wink_smile: "

I don't know. What I know is that the Dark Brotherhood will become one of my targets.

I don't know...Find out where they reside and 'dispatch' a few of them in front of their friends...Then run like hell...

I hate the Dark Brotherhood. With a passion. Bunch of blood-drunk psychopaths.
I'll teach them what fear is. They may think they own the dark, but they don't.

Sounds like fun. I wish you could borrow money and if you default they send the DB, or if you kill a merchant, etc and the merchant's brother takes over the store (like they have confirmed) the brother who is just a merchant instead of him trying to kill you uses the store money to easily afford hiring the dark brotherhood to get revenge. That would be cool. Then you have to make peace with the brother or kill him, or face endless assassination attempts at random.

Yes. They were confirmed a long time ago. February, I think.

the bad guys cant do it, they send the DB

I'm real bad and whipe out a town, the good guys send Bounty hunters after me or the DB.

I know that Bounty Hunters are in for one, so it's possible that you may be put on the list for killing someone's father/mother/brother.
