ok not sure if iit's been noticed before but would like to know .

at 1:28 in the tavern where the assassination takes place there are 2 woman behind the bar in a blink and u miss it moment, one looks like she has purple skin. possible first look at a dark elf ????

I like the new look. In Oblivion they looked too bland for my taste. This will set them apart from humans. ( so they do not look like subraces from each other or whatever but truly different )

As long as I can make a pretty dunmer, I dont mind them looking a bit alien. As mentioned, they kinda do look Nav'i-ish from Avatar...which works for me! ;]

That's only a Dunmer if Dunmer now have the same skin color as Imperials. Look at the neck and upperchest area. There's no way that's the gray/blue skin of a Dunmer.

Just look at the link below. And you'll see your Altmer.

Really? The whitest white? It hardly comes close to the complexion of an Imperial. And going on the more alien-esque elves that Bethesda seem to be returning too, she looks far too foreign to be any human.

Yeah I agree, though I would say she looks more yellow-ish. Maybe an Altmer? Probably.

The thing is it is very difficult to tell exactly what that picture looks like because it is so low res, etc. Until you have the game on your PC or console, and up and running, I think it is fairly pointless to speculate on pictures that don't really show that much....

Didn't they say they weren't done with all the races yet? What we saw could have been a preliminary build, good enough to go into the background of the trailer but probably not into the full game.

The only reason the elves didn't look like aliens in Oblivion was because the NPC creation system didn't allow for it. Bosmer are short and fat humans, Dunmer are medium-height, slightly portly humans with blue skin, and Altmer are tall, regular weight humans with gold skin. Skyrim's gonna fix all dat and make them cool-looking again.

I don't know, where are the ears? And the skin dosen't look anywhere near blue or gray. Maybe a wood elf? But still where are the ears?

And as for the alien look on the altmer, I like it. At least a lot more than the oblivion elves which just looked like humans with weird skin problems.

I think that woman you refer to is an altmer. The barmaid behind the counter looks like a dunmer though.

no the one behind the bar, she is on the right . it's very fast , u have to pause it at the right time and she def has purplish skin. not meaning the very visible elf sitting on the chair

she isnt an altmer the glow of the fire gives the illusion her skin is gold if you ignore the fire glow she appears a very pale blue also she appears a tad bit short to be an altmer
