Dark Fantasy Overhaul mod gone aloof...

Post » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:52 pm

I am just coming back to Skyrim and I use MO so I dont have mod files, but anyways, I am doing a vampire play through and I overhaul like dark settings but I am in bit of a pickle...

The author of Dark Fantasy Overhaul made his page hidden, I really need this mod to make it complete, anyone know the authors name so I may try to contact him on nexus or know where I can contact outside of nexus, or if someone has the file on hand? It'd be just for private personal use, I have no plans to re-upload it or anything like that.

If you're looking for a nice dark and spooky setting for your SKSE game I may be able to give you a good recommendation.

(If it's compatible with your current mods) try the vivid weather mod and set the interior and exterior darkness to doom and lower the saturation to your liking.

It creates a nice creepy ambience

Sorry if I misunderstood your question and gave you a totally unrelated and unhelpful recommendation.

Check this mod. It has an optional download that does the same as Dark Fantasy Overhaul. I think that option was done in cooperation with the original author but can't be sure.

There seem to be a lot of steps to install this, involving needing other mods and adding new files to folders, I'd need some help on. But I'd like to try it out though!

Yep, it's bundled into Enhanced Landscapes now. There are some pretty thorough video install guides on Enhanced Landscapes as a whole (and DyndoLOD which is usually expected to go alongside it, but it should work just fine on its own regardless)

Here is one from Dirty Weasel:
