Load the "MiNi.exe" and the "Dark Fog (Morrowind)" folder into your Morrowind folder, where CSUNinstall, Data Files, etc. can be found. Run it.

The .exe alters your Morrowind.ini settings though, and I'm sure if you played around with them yourself, you could find something even more to your liking.

Either way, remember to save a backup of the original.

I don't know about your other problem, but there's a ton of .INI tutorials around, I'll see if I can dig up the one I used. Much better to go that route I think.

You could've looked for one, you know? :P

Anyway, here it is: http://yacoby.silgrad.com/MW/Tuts/IniTut/Initut.htm

Tells you what does what, basically. You'll still have to experiment, mind you, but with the info there, it should help you avoid screwing things up in epic fashion. :)

You'll need to change the values for the following:

Fog Sunrise Color
Fog Day Color
Fog Sunset Color
Fog Night Color

These are found in all the sections for the different weather types, so you'll have to apply those changed values to all of them. Or not, depends upon how it looks when you're done.

You can also alter the depth (thickness) of the fog, which isn't far down from where the above settings are in each weather section.

Well, the sky looks pretty gray in the screenshots, so I'd say so.

Of course you can fix that if you don't like it. Generally-speaking, when you adjust the numbers, you'll need to lower all three sets of them to darken, and increase them to lighten. May take awhile to get it where you like it.
