I'm currently working on some unpleasant places, and I'd like to liven (darken?) things up with some horror-themed modders' resources.
Firstly, I've found some really great models in the http://mw.modhistory.com/download-53-5911 (surprisingly enough...), but I'm unable to find out which modder they're actually from, and thus unable to ask for permission to use them. Would anyone know where they come from?
The first three are of hanging, skinned human corpse statics. The mesh names are simply 'Hanging trio.nif', 'Hanging_Body_1.nif' and 'Hanging_Body_Long.nif', and they were packed straight in the meshes folder rather than under any sub-folders. They are also featured in the Shannon's HellHouse mod.
The second is a creature which is found in the Horror Mod as well as the Underground 2. The mesh is: db_demonite.nif. It's a tall skeleton-blood golem thing which looks nothing like regular MW creatures (yes, that's actually the best I can describe it...).
Secondly, does anyone know of any other dark, horror-themed or otherwise morbid modders' resources I can use? I'll list some I've already found, in case anyone else is interested.
http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42464/? - a brilliant resource which includes some fairly hellish models, but also a lot more Oblivion-themed stuff as well, including a Shivering Isles cell complete with floating islands and bizarro-architecture (which I'm using for another part of my mod too!).
http://download.fliggerty.com/download-p5-i25-118 has some nice Daedric-themed resources on Fliggerty for download.
As does http://download.fliggerty.com/search-au-dongle.
Finally, Lady E released some relevant models (a torture chair and a prisoner's cage) which I managed to find on links contained http://www.gamesas.com/lady-mods-t21811.html. Warning: the links in that forum aren't verified, so please be careful and make your own decisions about whether or not they're safe to download. (I downloaded them, scanned them and found nothing malevolent, but I can't make any guarantees).
Any other suggestions are welcome!
