Dark Night

Post » Sat Jan 08, 2011 7:15 pm

What the title said.. I currently using All Natural + Original color Darker night but it isnt dark at all. The combo seems to work just a little bit insides town, where there is a clear distinction between dark areas and those near the street lamps, but walking around outside cities.. its clear without any needs of torch even at 1 AM ..

I'm looking for something similar to Let there be darkness ... but for exterior .. That means torch actually worth something to carry around. And it isnt just for dungeon crawling. Is theres a mod like that available?

Remove the original darker night All natural has night darkness settings in its ini
All natural ini:
; =====================================================
; | Enhanced Nights : Configurable nights for Tamriel |
; =====================================================

set ANInitQuest.ENEnabled to 0 ; Enable/Disable Enhanced Nights. (0)

Set ANInitQuest.ENDarknessParameter to 1 ; Multiplier of the brightness at night.
Set ANInitQuest.ENNormalizeNightAmbient to 0 ; Enables/Disables vanilla's blue tint at night.
Set ANInitQuest.ENNormalizeParameter to 0 ; If above is 0, set to 0. If above is 1, set to (DarknessParameter * 60).

; Suggested Values:

; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; | |Vanilla|50% Darker Nights|80% Darker Nights|Original Colour Darker Nights|
; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; |DarknessParameter | 1 | 0.5 | 0.2 | 0.33 |
; |NormalizeNightAmbient| 0 | 1 | 1 | 0 |
; |NormalizeParameter | 0 | 30 | 12 | 0 |
; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are using two mods that try to do the same thing.... so no wonder its not working properly.

And if you're using All Natural 0.9.9.5 fix pack 1, the values will not be the ones Top killa wrote. The ini file has changed between 0.9.9.5 and fix pack 1.
If you're using the 0.9.9.5 ini file with AN 0.9.9.5-fix pack 1, nights won't be any darker.
