darker skyrim?

Hey all. After talking to others in another forum about skyrim getting routine, I'm Looking to try my hand at modding. I have nexus mod manager as well as Sky ui and the unofficial legendary patch up and working. Someone suggested dark fantasy overhaul, which makes the trees look cool. I tried it out, not bad at all.

I also have the fog mod which makes it look a bit better which has been good.

Only thing I've had a problem with is bleak ENB. I got it running but it definitely didn't look the way it should. It also lagged my computer a bit, which was surprising, cause I can run skyrim on ultra wit the high resolution texture patch installed.

I also tried climates of Tamriel...unfortunately I found it dulled the games detail, and tended to have some over exposure with lighting. Wasn't my cup of tea!

Other then that, is there any other suggestions? I tend to prefer assassin like characters, so even some cool armor/weapon mods would be great as well. Thanks for any input guys.

The ENBs have really high system requirements because all those shaders and filters take a lot of VRAM. My GTX 970 lags with RealVision ENB. Crazy stuff lol

I finally built my new system and also have a gtx 970. I can't wait to play Skyrim on my PC after playing for a long time on my 360. How bad does it lag for you Imbatman?

Well I have over 60 visual mods installed (everything on the RealVision ENB nexus site) and sometimes I dip into the 30's. Sometimes I am at a solid 60 (interiors mostly) but outdoors and in huge cities it can get crazy. 16GB of RAM, GTX 970, and an i5 4690k at 4.6 GHz

Take a look at Enhanced Lights and FX for darker interiors with more realistic lighting. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11118/?
