DarkUId DarN - how to enable notification sound ?

Hi all,

I'm new to Oblivion and also new to DarkUId DarN. I've played a bit with the original Oblivion UI for a while before switching to DarkUId DarN (and don't intend to go back, hehe).

Now I'm ALMOST sure that the original UI had some sort of audible feedback whenever some notification popped up - such as "Quest XYZ has been added", "You've found cave ABC" etc.

After switching to DarkUId DarN, all notifications now go by silently, and I'm missing quite a bit of them. Googled a lot, and peeked a lot into XML files... to no avail. :mad:

Will someone kindly share some hint of where should I be looking for to re-enable the notification sounds ? :yes:

There's a sound for quest objectives, but none for general notifications (you've found xxx for example).

Thx SomeWelshGuy - I suppose you mean Oblivion in general, and not DarkUId DarN specifically ?

Well, in that case I was really after a red herring then... :wallbash:

If it's really like this, then I'd better double the size of the notification font so that I start missing less of them. :shakehead:

What intrigues me is the feeling that there WAS sound with the notifications in the vanilla UI... :blink:

Audia Arcanum 2.0 and 2.1 updates the sound\fx\ui for questnew and stat skillup .wav.
