so i stumbled across a cave in amongst some waterfalls an in a lake/river its quit well hidden away but ive noticed that unlike most other caves that ive found it has not been marked on the map, is this normal an do some places just not get marked. i just wonderd cos it seems a lil too high level further in for me right now an wanted to go back but il end up forgetting where it is especially as it is quit tucked away, or possibly forgetting it even exists alltogether. it seems to be home to some race called "falmer" im quit new to TES games an never really played oblvion etc so forgive my ignorance about not knowing if all locations should show on the map once discovered. or is this a glitch/bug an it should be mapped. any help is much appreciated also if anyone knows if theres anything good donw there let me know if its worth going back for. its quit a dark but very glowey cave with lots of glowey shrooms an egg sacks etc.

so has nobody found this area or wot? is it showing up on others maps?? i can upload a pic of where abouts it is i can remember the area but il go back an find the exact location an upload a pic for you if its a case of nobody finding it yet. i just wanna know if its suppossed to show up on the map once discovered like every other location i thought did. somebodies gotta know something.

i found it earlier today, it has 2 entrances only one of them will give you the map marker

edit- to get the map marker go east and and a tiny bit south from where you foun the unmarked door

You've discovered the EXIT from that cave (I did it too, while trying to find my way to the top of the mountain and getting turned around repeatedly).
It seems that Skyrim only labels the entrance to places, just like the previous games.

The real pain is that you cannot set a pointer to places other than designated locations. Stumble onto a really good spot to harvest plants or animals?
Better find out the X-Y coordinates in the console and write them down if you want to find your way back again
