ORLANDO, Fla. ? Authorities say they removed an explosive device from around a man's neck after a robbery attempt in Orange County.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office reports that someone tried robbing a check-cashing store Sunday morning. The suspect fled, but Capt. Angelo Nieves says a second man was left behind with the device around his neck.
Deputies brought the man outside the store, removed the device and disabled it.
It was not clear whether the man was a customer or another suspect. Nieves told WFTV in Orlando that the investigation is ongoing.
