Darnified UI MOD..?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 11:19 am

Using this MOD:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11280

I was wondering whether I'd be able to see the 'sneak' above my crosshair instead of down below on the left, where the health bars are? Is there a way I can change this.

its in the readme...something along the lines of....

You use the ingame option menu to change to new position..note the new location..then Edit the XML for the Menu hud . Again in the readme. I did do that but need to do it again.

Tab 5 of the stats menu should let you move stuff around to your liking.

Tab 5 of the stats menu should let you move stuff around to your liking.

Then you have to do this to save the new changes..from the readme...
The now empty tab five of the stats page has been turned into a configuration page. You can literally change EVERYTHING about the Hud, leading to infinite immersion. You can even imitate Immersive Interface with enough configuring. This will prove Immersive Interface obsolete, as with a few configurations, you have a custom Immersive Interface built into your installation of DarNifiedUI\DarkUI'd DarN. Again, like the map menu, these settings are lost upon quitting the game, and so you must configure "hudmainmenu_config.xml" in Data\Menus\Prefabs\darn. However, this configuring is made simple, as for each different configuration, the setting which you must change is told to you in the description for the setting ingame. So once you've got the Hud looking as you want to, simply take a screenshot or write down your settings, change the necessary xml settings, and voila, your own customized DarNifiedUI\DarkUI'd DarN Hud.

Try right-clicking and then click "edit." If you double click it will probably try to open in IE which won't work.

Looks like you chose the lighter menu text option. That's intended for dark video replacers, I believe.

Run it again and see if you can avoid that option this time.

How do I know which one is the lighter text option and the one's that aren't? They don't state the lightness of the colour... only the size of the text :/

Sorry, I thought you were using the regular DarN UI.

Looks like you need the Dark DarN supplemental pack: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6795
