When I try to configure DarnUI and I open hudmainmenu_config.xml I have this:

What should I do?

Open it in Notepad or Notepad++.

It's trying to open in your web browser because XML files are also used on web sites.

Rather than double-clicking the file to open it in the default application (which is a web browser, in which you cannot edit the file), select it, right-click, choose "Open with..." from the context menu, then choose Notepad, or any other text editor to open the file. Any text editor or word processor will allow you to edit the file to your liking.
