The SCAR is behaving how it should behave now, its been bugged for a long time and people have just got used to abusing it.

Even if that's true or not, The current implementation of the SCAR is not fun to use.

I should of made it clearer in the video but there are other weapons like the FY71 that got even more recoil in this patch which again, made the gun simply a frustration to use.

I'm 100% about balancing the game and I agree that the SCAR was unbalancing the sandbox to a degree.

But a patch that left so many guns broken and if by "balancing" a gun they mean "make it boring to use" then god help us if they make Crysis 4.

I don't believe this was all intentional but it doesn't really matter, Crysis 3 is unplayable for me now (No I don't only use the SCAR >.>) my only interest now is getting the Mod SDK and doing a Crysis 3 MP Tune up.

You mean you actually needz skill to handle a scar!?

Le Gasp.

Gimme a break, i'm world's top Takedown, the gun is currently flawless, Crytek's newest patch is its saving grace, any new changes you dislike were because Crytek viewed them as skill less and easy, now you need skill if you truly want to win.

Weird right?

I'm glad you mentioned frames, because I thought it was just me.. I am struggling too to maintain high fps.. the best I can manage at the moment is avg 140fps, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I still get time lag/delay which means I get killed either before I see a player, I have to empty a full clip into them, I die without seeing any bullets come out of the gun, and only see it in the killcam. But when I do get higher fps, suddenly kills skyrocket, and of course I get votekicks more because of the sudden improvement, with 25-35 kills instead of 10-15.

I have reverted all my pc settings back to standard too after getting the rainbow effect in game which is disturbing. I7 3770k, Asus GTX660Ti, 16g Kingston HyperX 1600 ram, intel SSD main (C3 runs from this), Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H mainboard, Razer Mamba mouse (wired) and razer deathstalker keyboard, also wired. PSU is inverter type 750wrms, with 1400w peak. Basically this pc is just for C3 only.

Any advice/help would be much appreciated.

What is Scar like with Foregrip + Brake? No point testing the naked weapon when everyone's going to be running around with decked attachments.

Don't you just love games that have mandatory unlocks?

i hate that, aim enhance 3 and foregrip at close range is bad, muzzle is ok though

I was probably one of the first few people to extensively rant about how bull**** the whole unlock system was way back in Alpha. But we play the cards we're dealt.

So how is it with the attachments? From what I've been reading in the rest of the forums, overall the guns seem to be more balanced than ever. Up till now there wasn't really any good reason to use anything other than Scar on any map other than getting bored of using it, it's like M16A3/AEK in BF3.
