And it depends on when you'll get it.
No midnight launch, I prefer sleeping.

For me it will be 4 AM on Tuesday. I'll get a good 2 hours in before I have to take a shower, eat breakfast, and get ready for school.

According to Gstaff it is supposed to be 1 day and 8 hours for everyone (12:01 AM PST 19th), but Steam can't seam to be bothered to change or update its countdown clock.

Entire week? Lucky. Very lucky. I have to sit through a slow day of school, pass a bunch of time after school, wake up in the morning, play for 2 hours, and then sit through an extremely slow day before I can play again. I have to fit homework in there some how as well. Luckily I have late start on wednesday and don't have to go to school until 9.

School's for fools. I'll still be going to the midnight launch at gamestop, even if steam doesn't open the game at midnight, I have faith that I'll be able to play very very early tuesday morning, if it installs quickly, patches quickly, and is unlocked to the public, as it should be.

and if not, no worries, no school to attend, and no job to work, I'll be waiting with baited breath B)

Ugh. Football practice is going to svck so badly on Tuesday. At least I have release day shipping. The whole time I'm going to be thinking about getting home where my copy of New Vegas is waiting for me. I'm actually looking forward to 4th Quarter Drill just so I can go home to New Vegas. Then I have to convince my parents to let me play it... :sadvaultboy: getting a C on a progress report has never felt worse.

I probably won't get mine till Tuesday afternoon. That suits me fine, I still have to work in the morning, by the time I get off it should be waiting on my doorstep.

If you just have a field trip that day why not see if you can stay home then? Nothing too educational to miss out on.

I get my copy Thursday, but I work all day till 8:30pm. So like everyone else, I'll be trying to avoid watching the clock so time doesn't pass slower. When I get home its dinner, shower, and New Vegas all night long. No work Friday or Saturday, and I've already made a "3 day nerd out" agreement with my g/f.

Well, Valve uses tuesdays to release most of what they make. Everything from patches to games. Maybe the inclusion of Steam has something to do with it.

Not always though they always use "Valve time" and its because they don't work 24/7 and they don't all work on the same thing.

That's why I said most of what they make. I think the L4D2 mutations are released on Thursdays.

Nearly every game in the United States for every company is released on Tuesday's now. Have been for some time now. Occassionly a game will drop on Thursday, but its rare.
