I think the twins of mirrored duality have something to do with Akatosh and Lorkhan. I remember hearing somewhere in these forums that the 2 are pretty much exactly alike in appearance, though I have nothing to back up my guess so until someone comes along and can clearify this it remains just that.

I didn't mean to be that harsh, but there is a difference between something that sounds mystical and something that is pointlessly cryptic. The former is first and formost good writing, the sentences have to run and there has to be clear message. Perhaps not readdily understood but what is said must be clear.

I'd rewrite the OP as:

Still, the notion that the Twins are coming to the Arena is a bit scary, to me. Have any of you ever read the DC vs. Marvel series of crossover comics?

Two brothers, two universes, see each other, and decide to fight. But rather than fight personally, which would destroy the universes, they instead pick champions to fight each other in various settings. You know the drill: Superman vs. The Hulk; Spiderman vs. Superboy; Jubilee vs. Robin; Wolverine vs. Lobo; Batman vs. Captain America! Every really devoted fan's wet dream! (The second word in that last sentence is going to get censored, isn't it. :swear: ) That last one ends in a draw, and so the universes decide to duke it out personally, after all, potentially dooming everything and everyone.

If the OP is not just some random guy posting cryptic crap, but is, in fact, a hint-dropping dev in a costume (please note: no, I haven't checked his posting history), TES5 may well be the quest for The Hero to bring a non-world-shattering resolution to the Final Battle of the Arena: not Septim vs. Camorn; not Shor vs. Auri-El; not even Anuiel vs. Sithis; but the return of Anu and Padomay from "outside time forever", and the decision of the First Pair to end the Prime Duality once and for all... one way, or another.

...eh, so much for that. Well, he COULD post in OCTober. But that would just be cheap. Far as I'm concerned, he could be MK being MK. Then again he spelled Obsessive wrong (writers being as "obssesive" as they are, I doubt MK'd do that... unless that might be significant in some obscure corner of lore? Probably not but you never know, and I'm too lazy to look)... But then he might just be some bugger with too much time on his hands. And he missed his "8 days" thing. Meh... I'm a skeptic. EDIT: One of his posts (the Ayleidic one) is from June last year. I wonder if this wasn't a dev who got found out and shut down.
