Have you ever thought about scabbing the DC wastes, even though, the super mutants may horrifically and violently rip your heart out? Have you said to yourself "D*** the torpedoes, I am going Downtown anyway", only to find once you arrive that 99% of the shops and houses are all boarded up? Have you ever seen a building on the horizon, thinking you'll head there, just to find nothing of interest, nothing worth investigating? If so, this mod is for you!

The light topic is only something I think I noticed recently that I just never paid any attention to. Then it was the Fedex arrow effect and it did bother me. Its not huge I suppose but it will now continue to bother me....thats why I was hoping anything not using a battery or a generator. Example- On the grid power would be turned off. Day light that makes it in, sure. Night time...well it probably would be a time to use that ghoul eye or night vision anyway because we cannot see in the dark ^_^

I sooooo sooooo dread new vegas. It may not stop things. But it won't help much for us not getting it =/

Thanks for the reply though chief. Been feeling down past 2 days. On an upswing I've been watching this new mod that adds lore weapons I may take a look at that because it adds molotov cocktails. YAY ! lol XD

I get your point from a realism stance but, I don't think it is something I'm into. I'm not a big fan of darkness mods, I loved fellout until I tried to go out at night. It felt like I should simply turn my monitor off and, try to play the game.

You like those windows better? I thought they were a little obtrusive, They were used in my first build but, replaced for a better view. I was thinking it would be much cooler to have clear glass shards similar to the bathroom mirrors but, haven't figured out how to do the transparency properly.

Well I've talked about this over on the Beth forums but, not so much here. I'm eagerly awaiting Fallout New Vagus, I'm going to start a new mod for it "NVInteriors Project" As soon as I get my grubby little hands on the game and, the new GECK. At first I thought I would simply jump ship for the shiny new toy but, Now I'm thinking I'll be bouncing back and, forth between the games. As you've said there are still a lot of places to open up in D.C..

I still have a half finished plugin which I was working on before getting a little burned out. Dupont Circle, was in progress, I got stuck because, it was a more lived in district. Now that I've built some fun little raider shacks, I feel I have a better understanding on how to finish the district. I'm also looking at the Fairfax Ruins, I never really realized what a cool place it was and, how much fun it could be to explore.

Have no fears, DCInteriors is live an well! Yes, it most likely will go onto the back burner for a bit but, I'll continue to maintain it. There will still be future updates, I've started Dupont Circle and, I will finish it eventually.

So many buildings, So little Time!

Shards of glass...hmm. And to think i got excited over something lesser. Well. It was about the immersion for me. Kinda got my hopes up I guess. But it was a nice view for lil while =)

They are also touched by the latest version of http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1097761-relz-busworld-better-english-translation/, which has a long history of being crashy. The thing is though with this latest version I'm not getting crashes on exiting them except for buses also affected by this mod.

Also there is still no entrance to Hubris comics from the mason square area. The freed captive just waits outside the door.

Looks like it's been updated since I last downloaded. Better get the new version, then.

Question. I usually download the Combo, does that one include everything? Or do I still need to add the ones listed under Optional Files?

The Combo version includes everything, including the new Wasteland interiors. The optional files are there for people who might be using another interior mod that might conflict with an area Cev has worked on, so you can be selective in what you add.

I did look at them, sorry I forgot to get back to you. I didn't change anything involving Hubris, I'm downloading Busworld to see, what I can see. I'll let you know if I can track down the issue.

All you need is the combo, the optinal files are only if you don't want to use the entire mod.

I just looked at busworld both in game and, compared it to DCInteriors combo in FO3edit. I'm not seeing any reason for your errors. I as always with this mod, had missing mesh markers where ever there should have ben a bus but, I was able to enter Hubris Comics with out issue.

Is there any other mods your using that might cause the issue?

I do want to thank you though, while poking around looking for a cause for your problem, I stumbled across some other minor issues with the district. Some of my previously correct navemeshs have somehow gotten busted.

Once I find a few more bugs I'll post an update.

I looked at one save with crash issue, this save was at Hubris Comics and I had the same problem with door in this save.
This save was with Destruction mod in use

I did find a some unintentional changes to Mason while looking into your issue. None seemed to affect the door or, or the busses but, I've cleaned them out non the less. I will be posting an update which will also be fixing some broken map markers in Takoma and, L'Enfant.

The Hubirus comics door your having problems with can be found,

Using those formID and editor IDs I can find no mods touching them.

Entering the cell ID I find these mods touch that cell:
More Map Markers
MarkB Wasteland Patrols
Busworld
For good measure I also disabled the UFP and Destruction.

There is still no door there. I then disabled this mod - and still no door.

So I'm done for now - in fact as I recall when I stripped out all mods there was still no door. It is as if it was deleted from the save game file. I'd heard hat door references can be tricky things. Anyway thanks again, but as it is I'm done with this issue as it just isn't the biggest deal breaker to me.

I'm sorry your having issues. I'm no windows expert but, I'll try my best to help. I'm assuming you've saved the .7z to the file path in your errors, how are you trying to extract them? I use easy 7z and, have it extract to a new folder.

Do you have an older version of DCInteriors installed? If not, download the old combo and, the new Wasteland edition and try to unpack and install them. Send me a PM with an email address and, I will send the new .esm through the mail. It is small enough to get it to you that way.

I'm truly sorry I don't have any better ideas but, I'll do my best to help you get up and running.

I downloaded and, took a close look into how this mod was built after finishing, looking into the door issue that Psymon was having. I didn't realize how cool this mod really was!

Seriously, after I finish yelling at you for causing me more work, I'm going to PM razorwire to see if it would be cool if I could do an add-on to DCInteriors. It will be similar to the collectables add-on, requiring his mod to be installed. I'm not very good at scripting so, this will insure compatibility with his mods and, that I don't mess things up. I was thinking it would be nice to have some of the videos laying around "Family Classics Videos", TVs playing in the Radiation King Superstore" and, some of the security monitors I have around to be displaying static.

Once, I've PM'd him I'm going to start on this, under the assumption that he wouldn't mind and, If I'm not given permission to release the add-on, I'll be sure to rub it in your face that I have the version for my personal use and, you can not have it. :nono: :rofl:

Unfortunately for me, I'm not going to be able to rub anything into your face! Rasorwire, just gave me permission to use the assets I've asked for. So, now in the time between FNV, I'll be working on another add-on pack for DCInteriors.

I'm sorry to say that over the next two weeks before fallout New Vagus is released I'll be spending my time updating the DCInteriors_collectables add_on. The windows will have to wait. I've ben given permission to use "Razorwire's http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14675 so, Television is coming to DCInteriors. :celebration:

The update to the Collectables add_on will require all DLC's, the Combo_Edition, Television Comes to Fallout and, FOSE! I've started my preliminary work on the update, I've run into some issues but, I'm sure I'll overcome them. If I can't figure them out myself I'll ask Razorwire for help, He's offered any assistance I may need but, I don't want to be a pain in the A**!

This is exciting for me, I've always wanted to get my head around some of my scripting shortcomings. What it really means for you is, once I get things figured out, I'll start to add video clips to places like "Family Classics Video", "The Radiation King Superstore" and, random cells throughout the waste.

HeHe, this is going to be fun. :drool:

Thank you for your offer of assistance. I was using WinRAR to unzip the file. I downloaded 7z, used that, and everything then seemed to work. Again, thanks, much appreciated.
